For the first time since the Olympic games were in Lillehammer in 1994, the winter holiday has been extended beyond the usual two days to a full week. This allows Øksfjordians to go downhill skiing in Finland, snow mobile driving in Finnmark, drinking Piebalgas in Latvia, or sunbathing in sunny Spain.
