South Island is a hop, skip and a swim away from Øksfjord. The ferry takes one hour to reach this weekend fishing paradise. Yesterday a local managed to hook and drag in the biggest cod ever caught in Europe. The massive fish weighed an astonishing 42 kg and was 147 cm long, ironically the same measurements as Kylie Minogue when she appeared on the cover of Greece's Big Fish magazine.
