Day:132, Words:132

The mayor stood on the stage today and heaped praise upon everyone associated with Tåkehavet. He announced to a packed town hall that he was at a loss for words to describe the pride that he felt while enjoying the performance.

All of the elements came together wonderfully to portray the original story based on fact and legend set in 19th century Øksfjord.

The acting was superb from the young amateurs and the music from the live band, who also doubled as fishermen within the show, was excellent. The subtle lighting worked brilliantly with the creeping fog that slowly and stealthily engulfed the actors and the stage, creating an eerie and unique experience for the appreciative audience.

A short rest and a chance to recharge the batteries before the evening performance tomorrow.
