Day:142, Words:142

We are heading towards the end of May and most of Europe is heating up. Many are enjoying their alfresco dining, frappuccinos and multi flavoured sorbets. Today Øksfjord welcomed a new layer of snow on the mountains, while gusty winds blew slushy rain into unimpressed faces. Football training for the youngest devotees was a wet and cold affair for the second week running.

Tucked away inside the school classroom were eight students, completing their written maths exam. Students are required to sit one written and one oral exam and it is pure luck that determines which subject they receive. There were mixed opinions of today's exam paper as the mentally exhausted teenagers gradually stumbled out. The remaining eight who did not sit today will have to knuckle down and study in anticipation of their English exam next week.
